BRIDGE-BUILDING
Strong coalitions are essential to our goals. That’s why MAA is dedicated to breaking silos and building bridges of cooperation between people of different generations, ethnicities, faiths and backgrounds.
We actively engage in dialogues and other initiatives to promote mutual understanding and respect. Most importantly, we align around our shared values and interests to be in solidarity and collaborate with each other.
EDUCATION
At MAA, we believe that knowledge is power. We provide educational resources, workshops, and training programs to equip American Muslims with the information and skills they need to be informed, engaged, and effective advocates. We aim to foster a community that is well-versed in critical issues and able to confidently participate in the democratic process.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT
Democracy is at the core of our mission. We encourage American Muslims to actively participate in the political process by voting, running for office, and engaging with elected officials. We provide resources and support to help individuals navigate the political landscape and make their voices heard.
ADVOCACY
We are passionate about advocating for policies that specifically uphold the principles of justice, equality, and civil rights for all individuals, regardless of their background or beliefs. This means leveraging grassroots voices to change the status quo.
MAA taps our vast network of long-serving and emerging community leaders to engage in grassroots and legislative advocacy on a range of issues – including civil rights, social justice, immigration reform, and religious freedom.
